Founder

My name is Nakia Bolden, MPH, CHES. I graduated from Indiana University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Health Promotion. In October 2020, I earned my certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist, CHES®, and have been promoting and providing CHES exam prep resources ever since.

In 2023, I completed my Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Indiana State University and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science degree. I have worked as a Communicable Disease Investigator with the Indiana Department of Health and CDC Foundation to combat COVID-19 in Indiana between 2020-2021. I also served as a Vaccine Demand Strategist in Michigan to boost vaccine uptake and fight misinformation in 2022 and as the associate director of community partnerships at the American Cancer Society.

I have served as an associate adjunct since 2023, teaching health education and health promotion courses in alignment with the NCHEC competencies and CEPH standards. In addition, I also serve on several boards including the American Public Health Association's Climate, Health, and Equity Advisory Board, and the Indiana SOPHE as a Continuing Education Director. As a mentor, doctoral student, entrepreneur, and traditional worker, my focus is on providing health education resources, mentorship, and programs to communities, health equity professionals, and students. Through these efforts, I aim to promote professional development and increase health equity.

We are committed to developing partnerships and collaborations to increase the impact of public health programs. We believe that collaboration is essential to achieving our goals. We are always looking for new opportunities to partner with other organizations that share our vision.
